Basnet: Formation of NC-CPN(UML) coalition government raises hope among citizens

Kathmandu: CPN (UML) politburo member and former Minister, Mahesh Basnet, has claimed the formation of a new coalition government involving the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) raised citizens’ hope for economic enhancement.

He urged the government to assess the situation and deliver accordingly. As he said, business communities including the share market and banking sector are encouraged with the formation of the new government led by UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli.

While speaking during an inauguration of the Development Conservation and Promotion Campaign, Basnet said ‘Economic reform has been expected in the country’.
