Two missing after being swept away by flood

Kathmandu: Two people have gone missing when an auto-rickshaw (Ra. 6 Ha 4055), which was going to Khadrai from Tulsipur, was washed away by the Bechani river at Tulsipur municipality-4.

Police Inspector Prakash Thapa of the area police office Tulsipur shared that among the missing are 55-year-old local Sita Ale and 16-year-old Manju Khadka from Surkhet. Inspector Thapa said the driver of the auto-rickshaw (Ra. 1 Sa. 2357) 22-year-old Durga Pun, a resident of Tulsipur-7 was rescued.

The police said that the search for the missing person is underway. Due to excessive rain, the flood water from the Kalakhola has been flowing over the road.
