Kathmandu: Nepal has lost the second match of the Women’s Asia Cup.

Pakistan defeated Nepal by 9 wickets at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Sunday. Pakistan chased the target of 109 runs in 11.5 overs with a loss of 1 wicket.

Gull Feroza scored 57 runs for the team. Muneeba Ali was unbeaten at 46 runs. Kabita Joshi took 1 wicket for Nepal.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to field first. In the first innings, Nepal scored 108 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 6 wickets.

Kabita Joshi was unbeaten at 31 runs. Sita Rana Magar scored 26, Puja Mahato scored 25 runs, and Kabita Kunwar 13 runs for the team. Rubina Chettry scored 8 and Samjhana Khadka 4 runs for Nepal. Captain Indu Barma faced dug out.

Sadia Iqbal took 2 and Fatima Sana took 1 wicket for Nepal. Now, Nepal will play its third match against India on Tuesday.
