ACC Women’s Asia Cup: Nepal defeats UAE by 6 wicket

Kathmandu: Nepal has defeated UAE in the ongoing ACC Women’s Asia Cup.
Nepal defeated UAE by 6 wickets in their first match being played at Dambulla Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka on Friday.
Nepal successfully chased a target of 116 runs posted by the UAE. Nepal batter Samjhana Khadka’s contribution of 72 runs led Nepal to achieve its first match victory.
In the first innings, UAE scored 115 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. Khushi Sharma added 36 runs and Kavisha Egodage contributed 22 runs for UAE.
Likewise, Indu Burma took 3 wickets, Kavita Joshi, Sabnam Rai and Kritika Marasini took 1-1 wicket for Nepal.
