NC prepares to send influential leader to government

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress (NC) has been preparing to appoint an influential leader as Minister.

Leaders said a discussion is going on to send senior and influential leaders to the government. Leaders claimed that President Sher Bahadur Deuba discussed incorporating the top leaders.

According to Budhanilkanta source, President Deuba wants the leadership from Gagan Thapa, Prakash Man Singh, and Shashank Koirala to enter the government. Even the leader of the factions seems to be attempting to enter the government by themselves.

Likewise, General Secretary Gagan Thapa is attempting to take Home Ministery. However, based on the homework and discussion so far, the possibility of Ramesh Lekhak is strong to become the Home Minister.

However, Lekhak will become the Minister for Law, if other leaders continue their stance for Home Ministery. President Deuba wants Lekhak to handle Minister of Law for the completion of the peace process.
