Kathmandu: The play “A Beginning” has been staged at Mandala Theatre. The story of the drama revolves around the dreams of three youths, who succeed in accomplishing their dreams.
The play is prepared as the final project of Mandala’s second batch of Drama School and students of Theatre Lab 14. The drama has been written based on the lifestyle of youths, who turned their dream into hostage, for working in Japan.
Likewise, the complexity of one’s cultural identity, family ties, and pursuit of dreams in a foreign land have been woven beautifully into the story.
‘Shilpeeni’-Desensitizing Women’s Critical Issues in Workspace
Sachin Dahal, Samrat Singh, and Bibek Pandey are the actors in the play. The play has been written by Milan Bahadur Khadka, produced by Iksha Maden, and directed by Tritharaj Bishwakarma.
The play was staged on July 10 (Asar 26) at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
