Kathmandu: Indian Media has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to release recruited Indians in the Russian military.
According to Indian media NDTV, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently in Russia’s visit, raised the matter with President Putin during a bilateral discussion on Monday. The discussion led to an agreement to facilitate the release of the Indian army recruited in the Russian military.
Likewise, 2 Indians died in the war. This also triggered India to propose Russia release its recruited citizens from the Russian military. PM Modi reached Moscow on Monday. It is the first official visit of PM Modi to Russia, after the war between Ukraine and Russia.
Similarly, PM Modi besides holding a bilateral meeting with President Putin, will also attend the 22nd India- Russia Summit in Moscow.
