Two boys drown in pond

Kathmandu: Two boys have died after drowning in a pond at Naraha rural municipality-3 in the district.

Rahul Mandal (6 years old) the son of local Sushil Mandal and his nephew Ashish Mandal (8) died after being drowned. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Muktinath Sapkota said the boys were missing on Monday but found dead in the pond belonging to a local Basanta Yadav on Tuesday.

DSP Sapkota said the bodies have been kept at Provincial Hospital Siraha for post mortem and further investigation into the incident was underway.
