Kathmandu: The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has started collecting the details of the works carried out by national and international organizations as well as non-governmental organizations.
The Ministry has made a public call to provide these details within 15 days. The collection of details has been started at the direction of Education Minister Sumana Shrestha given the government’s lacking a systematic information system on how many national and non-governmental organizations are working in the education sector and what activities they are carrying out at present, according to Minister Shrestha’s private secretariat.
The Minister’s private secretariat said that problems related to resource mobilization for the education system would be identified and ways of resolving the problems explored after the collection of the details.
