CIB arrest group for robbing 20 million rupees

Kathmandu: Police have arrested a group involved in the robbery at the house of a businessperson at Dadhikot, Bhaktapur.

Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested them after they robbed 20 million (2 crore) rupees. CIB arrested 4 people including a police constable for alleged involvement in looting 20 million (2 crore) rupees of Dilliraj Raut, Dadhikot.

CIB arrested Sujan Rasaili, Bhim Tamang, Munaraj Rai, and Krishna Bahadur Bohora. Arrested Constable Krishna Bahadur Bohora was working in Brigade Number 2 of the Nepal Armed Police Force (APF).

The group of 4 people entered the house at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They arrived on 2 bikes and showed police identity cards.

It has been mentioned that the group claimed themselves as police, and sought permission to search the house from the owner. CIB Chief SSP Sanuram Bhattarai said that the group, who went to rob the house, made fake police identity cards.
