Kathmandu: South Africa has defeated West Indies by 3 wickets in the Super Eights stage of the T20 World Cup.

South Africa defeated West Indies by 3 wickets, with the help of the DLS method in the North Sound on Monday.

With this, South Africa has reached the semifinals and the Super 8 journey of the West Indies has ended. And even England has reached the semifinal.

South Africa scored 6 points from 3 games. England added 4 points from 3 games. West Indies bagged only 2 points and the USA was pointless.

South Africa succeeded in chasing the target of 123 runs in 16.1 overs with a loss of 7 wickets. Tristan Stubbs scored 29 runs for the team and Heinrich Klassen 22 runs for the team. Roston Chase took 3 wickets for the West Indies.

In the first innings, West Indies scored 135 runs with a loss of 8 wickets. Roston Chase scored a half-century for the team. He scored 52 runs out of 42 balls. Tabraiz Shamsi took 3 wickets for South Africa.

In the upcoming match of the Super Eight stage, Australia and India will compete.
