The preparations are going on to complete all the remaining works of the tunnel and make the flyover come into operation within 1 year.

Kathmandu: The construction of the flyover to connect the Balambu–Sisnekhola tunnel and the Tribhuvan Highway is taking its pace.

The length of the flyover is 128 meters and its breadth is 7 meters. The flyover was decided to be constructed at Kisipidi, Balambu to avoid traffic jams when the vehicles move from the highway to the tunnel.

The breakthrough of the 2667-meter-long Balambu-Sisnekhola tunnel took place on 21 April 2021( Baishak 9). The preparations are going on to complete all the remaining works of the tunnel and make the flyover come into operation within 1 year.
