Police arrest 4 people including Agricultural Development Multi Purpose Cooperative Chairperson

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Police have arrested 4 people including the Chairperson of the Agricultural Development Multi-Purpose Cooperative in charge of misappropriating deposits.

Cooperative Chairperson Tej Bikram Thapa of Tanahun, Manager Sajana Rajkarnikar of Lalitpur and Members Bhimsen Maharjan and Sanjaya Sapkota were arrested. It has been found that Thapa was prosecuted in 2 cases and absconded in 3 cases.

Likewise, there is an allegation against embezzlement of 940 million (94 crore) 2.3 million (23 lakh) and 42 thousand rupees. 566 people have filed a complaint case against them.

Police said that they had embezzled 2thousand 5hundred and 31 depositors’ money. Mobile, Cheque, Pen drive and car were seized.
