MP Karki: Ministers should keep budget at zero

Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Member of Parliament (MP) Roshan Karki has accused the ministers of taking the budget to their districts.

Speaking at zero time at the House of Representatives (HoR) on Wednesday, Karki commented on the activities of the ministers. She said, ‘Ministers took the budget to their districts. What should we do?’ said MP Karki, ‘An example of this is in the Ministry of Women and Children. What should we do Mr. Speaker? I have these questions to the Ministers through the Speaker.’

Likewise, MP Karki also demanded to slash the budget taken by the Ministers. ‘Arrangements should be made to make the budget returned. Ministers should keep the budget at zero,’ said Karki.
