Raghuji Panta: We want information about dignitaries who desire to obtain foreign citizenship, by eating salt of Nepal Government

Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Member of Parliament (MP) Raghuji Panta demanded information about those who hold high positions in the Nepal Government have taken foreign citizenship.

Speaking at zero time in the House of Representatives (HoR) on Wednesday Panta said, ‘ We have to find out who are those dignitaries who want to obtain the citizenship of foreign while eating the salt of the Nepali Government.’

The news was published of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) directing the government to investigate the issue of obtaining foreign citizenship and residence permits by the Members of Parliament (MPs), Employees and other public officials.

Panta also demanded that the relevant administration should take immediate action and must inform the parliament.
