Nepali Army Corporal murders his wife

Kathmandu: A Nepali Army Corporal has murdered his wife at Tulsipur, Dang.

Police said that Shalikram Budhathoki (36 years old), a resident of Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan-6, currently residing at a rented house of Gorkarna Chand in Rapti Tole murdered his wife Tika (27 years old) with a sharp weapon.

Likewise, the Police said Shalikram is being interrogated in the case. He was serving at Jwaladal Gan, Bara. According to District Police Tulsipur,  Budhathoki murdered his wife on Friday at 8:00 a.m. DSP Thakur Prasad Pokharel said the investigation is going on.

Budhathoki, who absconded after the murder of his wife, was arrested from Tulsipur. In a preliminary statement, it revealed that Budhathoki returned on holiday, from peacekeeping force to his home on holiday, and murdered his wife Khukuri after he found his wife in an objectionable situation with a man.

His wife, Tika, who sustained injury from Khukuri, died during a treatment course at Rapti Provincial Hospital.

Budhathoki hit Aryan Thapa, a Nepali Army soldier, who was with Tika and was hit by Khukuri. Thapa sustained injuries on the neck and head. His treatment is going on at the hospital.
