NC decides to give vote of confidence to Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) will be giving a vote of confidence to Madhesh Province Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav.

The party’s Madhesh Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday decided to give a vote of confidence to Chief Minister Yadav.

Member of Parliament (MP) said that the meeting called by the Parliamentary Party Chief Krishna Yadav decided to vote in favor of Chief Minister Yadav. Chief Minister Yadav is set to take the vote of confidence on Wednesday.

There are 22 Members in the Madhesh Province Assembly. 41 MPs are in favor of the Chief Minister after the NC stood up with Janata Samajwadi Party.  Chief Minister Yadav needs 54 MPs’ support for the continuation of Chief Minister.

Chief Minister set to take a vote of confidence on Wednesday after CPN UML) and CPN(Maoist Center) withdrew their support from the government.
