Arjun Narsingh KC: Budget is ambitious

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Arjun Narsingh KC has said the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2081-82 BS is beyond reality and is ambitious.

Taking part in the general deliberations on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the lower house on Tuesday, the leader said the budget is not based on the current needs.

‘The budget has failed to show a direction for converting frustrations into hopes. I asses it just a statement of the five-party alliance guided by a distributive approach,’ he said.

According to lawmakers, the budget size is large and it seems to end with a budget deficit. He urged the government to promote those mechanisms incapable of capital expenditures and not to demoralize the private sector.
