Government to produce and brand local Alcohol

Kathmandu: The government will be doing the production and branding of domestic liquor in the next financial year 2024 (2081).

Presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year on Tuesday, Minister of Finance Barshaman Pun presented the liquor branding. ‘Product branding will be done by ensuring the quality of domestic liquor,’ said Minister Pun. But, he didn’t announce the budget amount.

Likewise, the policy of ‘branding’ the domestic alcohol brought by some local levels has not progressed, due to the ban imposed by the federal government.
