Kathmandu: CPN (UML) has accused the major political party Nepali Congress of being prejudiced towards Chairperson K.P. Sharma Oli.
Interacting with the media after a meeting of top leaders in Baluwatar on Monday, CPN (UML) Vice-Chairperson Bishnu Paudel said NC Congress made a political allegation against the party chairperson in the cooperative embezzlement case. He said that the party would adopt countermeasures if the NC did not ask for forgiveness.
‘Major Political party Nepali Congress has become prejudiced towards Chairperson K.P. Sharma Oli. The Party has been accusing him of different allegations in the communication medium and public program,’ said Paudel, ‘We request to back off from such activities. If there is no steeping back from such activities, CPN (UML) will go for countermeasures.’
He added, ‘NC must seek a written apology and even from a public platform for accusing Chairperson Oli. Otherwise, the relation will not move ahead smoothly.’
Likewise, he said NC has been showing disagreements on different issues regarding the parliamentary inquiry committee.
‘The Nepali Congress is not in favor of the agreement. The previous steps signal their intentions. The party is moving towards breaking down the national politics, ‘ said Paudel. He said NC is in the process of breaking down the agreement
