IPV Vaccination Campaign begins (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The IPV Vaccination Campaign has begun across the nation, for those children who missed the ‘IPV Vaccination against polio disease.

The vaccination campaign aims to vaccinate 14 lakh 62 thousand and 7 hundred and 12 children.

Likewise, Children who missed regular polio vaccination from 2016 (2073) to 2018 (2075), will be included in the campaign which will last till 8 June (Jestha 26).

The Government conducted the campaign because children across the country were deprived of vaccination due to the unavailability of the vaccine worldwide. The vaccination started in Nepal from 2016 (2073) to 2018 (2075).

Under the campaign, children born on 13 April 2016 (Baishak 1, 2073) to mid-September 2018( Aoj, 2075) will be vaccinated.
