Meeting between Deuba and PM Dahal ends inconclusive

Kathmandu: The discussion between Prime Minister Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has ended inconclusive.

It has been said that the 2 leaders couldn’t agree on the mandate of the parliament committee. According to NC Leader Jeevan Pariyar, PM Dahal requested that the parliamentary inquiry committee’s TOR should mention the name of the company instead of the Home Minister.

PM Dahal after mentioning the name of the company, attempted to reassure Deuba by saying that the person involved would be dragged during the investigation. Deuba rejected the proposal of PM Dahal by saying that if the company name is included then it will be a responsible act rather than just mentioning the name of the individual.

Likewise, Deuba requested the Prime Minister to fulfill the demands of NC, by saying that their demand were justified and that NC would not fail to give justice to the cooperative victims. NC opined of the ruling coalition attempting to give immunity to the Home Minister.
