USA Embassy rejects visa of Sandeep Lamichhane

Kathmandu: The USA Embassy has refused to give a visa to Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane.
Lamichhane through social media informed about the visa rejection. He applied for a visa to participate in the upcoming T-20 World Cup to be held in the USA and West Indies.
Although the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) completed all procedures, the USA Embassy in the last hour refused to give a visa to Lamichhane.
Likewise, Lamichhane was acquitted in a rape case on 15 May 2024 (Jeshta 2, 2081).
