Tussle between NC and CPN(UML) Members of Parliament at Parliament

Kathmandu: The tussle has taken place between Members of Parliament (MPs) of the main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) and the ruling party CPN (UML).

Speaker Devraj Ghimire read out the letter received from the President’s Office. After that, he gave Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane time to speak. As soon as Lamichhane stood up, NC became even more outraged and started to chant slogans louder.

CPN (UML) MPs also stood up after that, situation of stumbling block started. NC Vice Chairperson Dhanraj Gurung raised his finger in front of CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and chanted slogans even louder.

Likewise, the next meeting will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
