Lamichhane’s door to play T-20 World Cup open

Kathmandu: The door to play cricket has been opened to Sandeep Lamichhane, after being acquitted by the Court in the rape case.
Patan High Court Judges Surdarshan Dev Bhatta and Anju Upreti Dhakal overturned the decision of Kathmandu District Court on Wednesday.
Likewise, after being acquitted there is a chance for Lamichhane to play upcoming T-20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies.
Sandeep Lamichhane gets acquit in rape case
The board meeting of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) preparing to hold a decision on the matter soon. CAN has to recommend the International Cricket Council (ICC) to be included in the World Cup Squad.
According to ICC, players can be changed till May 25, therefore CAN will have to recommend earlier.
