Oli directs MPs not to travel abroad without party permission

Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has directed members of parliament (MPs), from his party, not to travel abroad without taking permission of the parliamentary party.

Speaking in the meeting of the parliamentary party on Monday, Oli warned MPs not to travel abroad without the permission of the party. He said that MPs could go to different programs, only after informing the party’s Chief Whip and Whip.

Likewise, Oli said that MPs could travel abroad only after getting permission from the parliamentary party to avoid actions from the party. The party can take strict actions including, restricting the members from being the MP again, in case of involved in scandals like a red passport.
