CPN(Unified Socialist) to support CPN(UML) candidate for NA Vice Chairperson

Kathmandu: CPN (Unified Socialist) will be supporting the CPN (UML) candidate for the position of Vice Chairperson of the National Assembly (NA).

CPN(Unified Socialist) decided to vote CPN(UML) candidate after it didn’t receive to be Vice Chairperson, despite claiming for the post.

CPN(UML) Bimala Ghimire and Nepali Congress Bishnu Devi Pudasini will be competing for the NA Vice Chairperson.

Voting for the Vice Chairperson will be held at the National Assembly meeting after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ghimmire’s chance to win seems certain due to the majority of the ruling coalition of CPN(Maoist Centre), CPN(UML), and CPN(Unified Soicailsit) in the 59 members of NA.
