CPN (Moaist Centre) Jokh Bahadur Mahara to be Chief Minister of Lumbini Province

Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist Centre) Jokh Bahadur Mahara will be the Chief Minister of Lumbini Province.

According to the agreement of the Center, a Mahara-led government would be formed in Lumbini Province. With the resignation of Chief Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary, preparations have been made to form a new government.

Likewise, the ruling coalition parties have prepared to present claims with the signatures of 44 MPs, for the formation of the new government under the leadership of CPN (Maoist) Mahara.

The Province Secretariat said the claim would be submitted at the beginning of office hours on Friday. The Province Chief would be ready to appoint Mahara as the Chief Minister.

It has been said that the signatures of 44 MPs including 29 CPN (UML), 10 CPN (Maoist Party), 3 Janata Samajwadi Party(JSP), 1-1 of CPN(Unified Socialist), and Rastriya Swatantra Party have been collected.
