Minister Lamichhane: Absconding G.B. Rai in Cooperative fraud will be arrested soon

Chitwan: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has said the government is trying its best to solve the nationwide problem seen in the cooperative.

Interacting with media in Chitwan on Sunday, Minister Lamichhane said that the government was trying to solve the problem of the cooperative victims with negotiations. Minister Lamichhane has also been alleged of his involvement in the cooperative fraud scandal.

Minister Lamichhane said, ‘The government negotiation team and cooperative victims have agreed upon negotiations. The agreement will come into implementation.’ He assured of returning the savings of the cooperative victims from all around Nepal even if there is the need to spot the assets of the embezzlers.

Similarly, Minister Lamichhane said that the savings of the cooperative victims would be made available even by bringing the properties of the embezzlers. He said that the government mobilized the whole power to arrest the absconding fraud of the Cooperative, G.B. Rai.

Minister Lamichhane shared his belief that the matters of the investigation and study must not be made public and assured G.B. Rai to be arrested soon. He said the result of the government will come soon.

‘The actions will be taken as per the Law. It is the direction of the PM that the guilty must not be victimized, innocent must not be punished. Work must be performed as per the directions,’ said Lamichhane.

Minister Lamichhane said that he would perform result-oriented actions despite the process being difficult.
