Rainfall in Kathmandu (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces have witnessed thunder and light rain.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, it has been raining in Jhapa, Panchthar, Khotang, Siraha, Saptari, Dhanusha, Rautahat, Bara, Parsa, Sindhuli, Sindhupalchowk, Makwanpur and different places on Wednesday.

Meteorologist expert Govinda Jha said a light rainfall has been raining in some places of Kathmandu with the possibility to continue till afternoon. Even there is a possibility of light rainfall in Gandaki, Lumbini province.

Likewise, Meteorologist Jha said there is a chance of light rainfall in the eastern region till Thursday. The higher hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Province might experience light snowfall.

People depend upon raincoats and umbrellas to reach their destinations. The rainfall has also affected the daily routine of people in Kathmandu.
