Udayapur jeep accident: 6 died, 5 injured

Kathmandu: A jeep accident has resulted in the death of 6 people.

Jeep met with an accident while heading to Bhojpur from Sunsari’s Dharan. Jeep no Ko.1 Ja 2593 met an accident at Chuhar, Udayapur. According to the Police, among the deceased only driver Man Bahadur Basnet’s identity has been revealed.

14 were on jeep. Udayapur’s District Officer Assaint Chief, Laxmi Prasad Regmi, 5 injured people were rescued and taken to the hospital for further treatment.

Most of the passengers in the jeep were from Bhojpur’s Amchowk and Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality. Police said that the rescue operation is going on including the preparation of taking the injured to Dharan for further treatment.
