Kathmandu: Papua New Guinea (PNG) has won the title of the Tri-Nations T-20I series.

Nepal lost the match against PNG by 86 runs on Wednesday. Nepal failed to chase the target of 172 runs. Nepal was packed up in 85 runs in 16.3 overs.

Sundeep Jora scored 17 runs for Nepal. Aarif Sheikh 15, Rohit Paudel 12, Lokesh Bam 6, Gulsan Jha 6, Kushal Bhurtel 5, Binod Bhandari 4, Karan KC 3, Bibek Yadav 1 run for Nepal. Pratish G.C. was ducked out.

Sese Bau, Chad Soper, Semo Kamea, and Kabua Morea took 2 wickets each for PNG.

In the first innings, Nepal won the toss and decided to field first in the Mission Road Ground. PNG scored 171 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 8 wickets.

Tony Ura scored 61 runs out of 37 balls by smashing 5 boundaries and 4 sixes. Alei Nao remained unbeaten in 30 runs.

Kushal Bhurtel and Aakash Chand took 3 wickets each for Nepal. Karan KC and Gulshan Jha took 1 wicket each.
