NA member Panta: We were searching for woman as our guardian

Kathmandu: National Assembly member Kamala Panta has said that they were in search of a woman guardian.

To elect the Chairperson of the National Assembly, Panta made those remarks in the meeting held on Tuesday. ‘Our current guardian is a woman. We had also searched for women as our guardians. I oppose the practice of believing women only as second class, ‘ said Panta.

She said that despite the Constitution of Nepal being women-friendly, the parties have failed to practice it. ‘Many things have been written about the women in the proposal, the behavior is different, ‘ said Panta.
