Match between Nepal and Hong Kong called off

Kathmandu: The first match of the Tri-Nation T20I series between Nepal and Hong Kong has been called off.

The match was halted due to rainfall in Misson Road Ground. Hong Kong scored 65 runs in 8 overs with the loss of 2 overs when the downpour began for the second time.

With the game failing to resume, Nepal and Hong Kong received 1–1 points. Earlier, Gulshan Jha took the second wicket for Nepal. Captain Nizakat Khan was out in 25 runs.

The match was also halted when a downpour began in 5 overs. Honk Kong had scored 43 runs with the loss of 1 wicket at that moment. Karan KC took the first wicket for Nepal in the first delivery.

Nepal won the toss and chose to field. Now, Nepal and PNG will compete on Tuesday.
