Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) has called its Parliamentary Party Meeting to decide the future strategies in the Parliament. NC called the meeting to make the upcoming strategy as it has turned into opposition after a change in the ruling coalition.
The Parliamentary Party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba called the meeting in Lhotse Hall of the Parliament at 9 pm on Thursday. The meeting would discuss various topics including the recently developed political events, and the role of parties in the parliament. The two separate meetings of the House of Representatives and National Assembly will take place on Thursday.
NC became the largest opposition party of the parliament after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ made a new coalition with CPN (UML). NC decided to pull back its support from the PM Dahal-led government and decided to remain in the opposition.
