Nepal lost match against Netherlands by 2 runs

Kathmandu: The national cricket team of Nepal has lost the second match against the Netherlands of the Tri-Nation T20I Series.

Nepal lost the match against the Netherlands by 2 runs in the T.U. International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. This is the second defeat of Nepal in a row.

Nepal failed to chase the target of 185 runs by playing all 20 Overs. Nepal scored 182 runs with a loss of 8 wickets. Dipendra Singh Airee scored 63 and Rohit Paudel 50 runs for the team. Aasif Sheikh scored 34 runs for the team. Karan KC and Kushal Malla scored 11 runs for the team. Sompal Kami and Kushal Bhurtel were out in zero runs. Sundeep Jora scored 8 runs for the team. Gulsan Jha and Pratis GC were unbeaten at zero runs.

Sybrand Engelbrecht and Roelof van der Merwe took 2 wickets for the Netherlands. Aryan Dutt, Vivian Kingma, and Timm van der Gugten took 1 wicket each for the team.

In the first innings, the Netherlands lost 4 overs and scored 184 runs. Michael Levitt scored 54 and Sybrand was unbeaten at 49 runs for the team. Kushal Malla and Karan KC took 1 wicket each for Nepal.
