Namibia’s Loftie sets world record of fastest century against Nepal

Kathmandu: Namibia’s batsman Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton has set a world record in T20 International cricket.

Eaton set a world record by completing a century in 33 balls against Nepal at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Tuesday. He registered his name for the fastest century. Namibia smashed 11 fours and 8 sixes in 33 balls to complete his century.

Earlier the record was in the name of the Nepali batsman Khushal Malla. He set the record for the fastest century in T20 International against Mongolia in 34 balls. Abinash Bohora sent Eaton back to the pavilion in 101 balls.
