Dr. Baral appointed as Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University

Kathmandu: Prof. Dr. Kesharjung Baral has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University (TU).

Prime Minister and TU Chancellor Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ appointed Dr. Baral as Vice Chancellor on Thursday. Dr.Baral was a former Vice Chancellor of Pokhara University.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Selection and Recommendation Committee under the leadership of Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Ashok Rai had recommended the names of Dr. Baral, Chitra Bahadur Budhatoki and Tankanath Dhamal.
