Cricketer Lamichhane appeals against District Court’s decision in High Court

Kathmandu: Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has appealed against the decision of the Kathmandu District Court in the Patan High Court.
Lamichhane and his legal team are in Patan High Court, for review of the decision.
District Court had convicted Lamichhane in a case of rape and sentenced him to 8 years imprisonment. Lamichhane filed for an appeal by saying the decision was flawless. However, he has been insisting on his innocence.
Likewise, Kathmandu District Court had convicted Lamichhane in a rape case filed by Gaushala 26.
