Speaker Ghimire makes ruling to government in Balkumari incident

Kathmandu: House of Speaker Devraj Ghimire has made a ruling to the government to answer the questions raised by the MPs about the Bal Kumari incident.

Speaker Ghimire made the ruling to answer the Balkumari incident after the MPs accused the government of neglecting the Balkumari incident demanding to make the report public by obstructing the ongoing Parliament meeting on Thursday.

MPs demanded the immediate resignation of Minister Jwala, by saying the report submitted by an investigation commission found Minister Jwala guilty in the Balkumari incident; where 2 EPS students were killed in the scuffle between demonstrators and police on 29 December (Poush 13).

Earlier CPN (UML) and Rastriya Swatantra Party(RSP) had obstructed the meeting.
