Nepal A defeats Canada XI by 2 wickets; Half centuries of Sandeep and Bashir

Kathmandu: Nepal A has won the match against Canada XI in the bilateral ODI series.

Nepal A defeated Canada XI by 2 wickets in Mulpani Cricket Ground on Tuesday. With this, the 3 matches series has equalized by 1-1. Nepal had lost the first match against Canada-11.

Nepal completed the target of 241 runs in 49.1 overs with a loss of 8 wickets. Sandeep Jora and Bashir Ahmed scored half-centuries for the team. Sandeep Jora scored 66 runs out of 74 balls. Bashir Ahmed was unbeaten at 52 runs. Rashid Khan scored 47 runs out of 51 balls. Ammor Khalid, Shahid Ahmadzai, and Nikhil Dutta took 2 wickets each for Canada XI.

In the first innings, Canada XI was packed up in 49.1 overs. The team scored 240 runs. Shreyas Movva scored 68 and Navneet Dhaliwal scored 46 runs for the team.

Shahab Aalam took 3 wickets for Nepal A. Sher Malla and Rashid Khan 2 wickets each for the team. Sagar Dhakal and Basir Ahmed took 1 wicket each for the team.

Now, Nepal A and Canada XI will compete in the third match on Thursday.
