District Administration Office ,Rautahat extends curfew in Ishnath Muncipality

Kathmandu: The District Administration Office, Rautahat has extended the curfew area in Ishnath Municipality.

Harilal Regmi, Chief District Officer (CDO) of Rautahat, ordered an extension of curfew on Sunday after the dispute between the two parties regarding the issue of idol immersion was unsolved.

In the notice issued by CDO Regmi, it was mentioned that the curfew order has been imposed in wards 6 and 7 of the municipality. Before, the Administration had imposed a curfew on wards 2, 3, 4and 5 at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Likewise, 2 parties disputed the idol immersion of Goddess Saraswati in Ghiura Gaun, Ishnath- 7. To keep the situation under control, the administration ordered to imposition of a curfew.

The administration imposed a curfew on East Banjara Mode, Sano Ghirau Gaun in the West, from Rampurkhap APFBOP to Boring in the North and Jimal Akhtar APF BOP Auria to Nayan nagara in the South.

Similarly, the administration is preparing to immerse the idol of Goddess Saraswati during curfew. The Administration will be immersing the idol by deploying around 700 security personnel.
