Kathmandu: A supplementary proposal, to stand in favor of the Hindu nation, has been submitted to the Nepali Congress.
22 Central committee members signed the submitted the supplementary proposal with a signature to party President Sher Bahadur Deuba in the Centre Committee meeting on Friday.
The supplementary proposal, submitted under the leadership of Shankar Bhandari, mentions the sentiments of the majority of the General Committee members, and the subject of widespread interest and concern of the general Nepalese people was not included in the discussion,
‘We, the members of the central working committee of the NC, have submitted a proposal in favor of Sanatan Hinduism after discussing in the meeting of the General Committee,’ mentioned in the proposal.
They have seriously objected to the fact that a democratic party like NC stands in favor of secularism, by ignoring the sentiments of the people who have faith in Sanatan, religion, culture, Buddhism, and Kirats.
Shankar Bhandari, Devendra Raj Kadel, Prakash Rasaili’ Snehi’, Shukra Raj Sharma, Indra Bahadur Baniya, Dilendra Prasad Badu, Rangamati Shahi, Vidya Timilsina, Gehendra Giri, Sita Devkota, Arju Junga Bahadur Singh were the center members to submit a proposal.
Sita Kumari Rana, Pushpa Bhusal, Shardha Paudel, Champa Devi Khadka, Nagina Yadav, Nrip Bahadur Wad, Sanjay Gautam, Bhim Parajuli, Dinesh Koirala, Mukta Kumari Yadav, Dilla Sangroula were to sign in the proposal.
