Police arrest one person in charge of inhuman act upon woman

Kathmandu: Police have arrested a person for conducting an inhuman act upon a woman in Morang.

Police arrested Paro Majhi for involvement in the cruel mistreatment of a woman. A cruel act has been upon the woman regarding an accusation of stealing a lamp.

According to the District Police Office, it was found that a woman aged (55 years old) from Budhiganga Rural Municipality -7 was beaten up and fed excrement an accusation of stealing a lamp.

A woman was physically abused and called a witch in an accusation of stealing a lamp, which was used for Ashtam Puja in Majhi’s house.

Similarly, Police said that an investigation was going on Majhi, who was arrested after filing a complaint.
