Gagan Thapa: Citizens' grievances to govt rising

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said citizens’ grievances towards the government have been rising of late.

Talking to media persons here today, the lawmaker said during the party’s Sambad Yatra that he came to know the growing concerns of citizens.

Thapa said, ‘Citizens have come to realize that their expectations for good governance and smooth public service following the promulgation of new Constitution have largely been unaddressed.’

He shared about citizens’ frustration towards the government’s inaction and inability to address even their basic concerns. Furthermore, the former minister expressed his belief that forming a political alliance is more effective after an election rather than pre-election.
