Chinese national arrested with 25,000 US dollars

Kathmandu: Police have nabbed a Chinese national with 25,000 US dollars.
A police team at Tribhuvan International Airport arrested Cui Bingcan (29-year-old) on Sunday night and made him public today. The Chinese citizen had been illegally taking 250 units of US dollar banknotes with 100denomination to foreign countries.
According to Police Headquarters, he was about to fly to Guangzhou China on a flight of China Southern from Kathmandu.
Police arrested him in the course of the security check at the hand baggage check-in counter. He has been sent to the Pulchowk-based Revenue Investigation Department for further investigation and action, added police.
