Snowfall turns Humla white; Makes farmers happy (Photos)

Humla: The snowfall has begun in the Humla. The district situated at a high altitude has been experiencing snowfall since the morning with the change in the weather.

The temperature has dropped to -8 degrees Celsius. This has affected the daily life of the local people. They are not even able to come out of their house. The villages in the northern part, including the Simkot, have experienced heavy snowfall.

People of the Limi and Muku of Namkha, which shares its border with the neighboring country China, are not able to leave their houses. However, the farmers of the southern part are happy as the snowfall might end the drought. They are happy with the belief that the snowfall favors the wheat sown in the fields.
