U-19 World Cup: Nepal competing against Bangladesh 

Kathmandu: Nepal and Bangladesh are competing against each other in the ICC U-19 World Cup.

Nepal and Bangladesh will compete against each other at 1:45 pm in Manguang Oval, Bloemfontein on Wednesday. Nepal is aiming to win the match and open an account of its point in the Super Six stage. But, Nepal is not in the race to reach the semifinals.

Nepal will compete against Bangladesh and India in this stage. Nepal will only have 4 points even if the team bags in both matches. But, India and Pakistan already have 6-6 points. Nepal is sharing its group with India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Ireland in the Super 6 stage.

All the teams will not compete against each other at this stage. Also, the result of the group stage would affect this stage.

Nepal only succeeded in defeating Afghanistan in the group stage. But, Afghanistan didn’t qualify for the Super Six stage. Hence, the two points of Nepal from the stage would not be counted in the Super 6.

The points received by India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh in the group stage would be counted in this stage. With this,  the possibility of Nepal entering the group stage has ended.
