Kathmandu: Nepal Police Club has been continuing its unbeaten streak in the PM Cup National Cricket Tournament.
Police defeated Karnali Province by 6 wickets in T.U. International Stadium on Friday. Police chased the target of 172 runs in 23.4 overs with loss of 4 wickets.
Dilip Nath was unbeaten at 75 runs out of 62 balls hitting 6 boundaries and 4 sizes. Kushal Bhurtel scored 43 and Captain Dipendra Singh Airee scored 34 runs for the team. Prakash Jaishi took 2 wickets for Karnali. Dipendra Rawat and Diwan Pun took 1 wicket each.
In the first innings, Karnali was packed up in 42.5 overs. The team scored 171 runs. Nischal Rawal contributed 50 runs out of 107 runs by hitting 6 boundaries. Captain Rabindra Shahi scored 40 and Arjun Gharti scored 23 runs for the team. Sagar Dhakal took 3 and Lalit Bhandari 2 wickets for Police.
