1 Lakh 25 thousand lamps lightening ceremony in Janaki Temple

Kathmandu: The preparations are going on to light up 1 lakh 25 thousand lamps in the Janaki temple, Janakpurdham.

The preparation to lighten the lamps in the Janaki temple, which is considered the birthplace of Lord Ram’s wife Sita, on the occasion of Pran Pratisthan ceremony in Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, India.

According to the Janaki Temple Management Committee, a special aarti will also take place along with the lightening of the 1 lakh 25 thousand lamps in the evening. The committee requested all the people to attend the program as it was going to address the Pran Pratisthan ceremony in Ayodhya.

More than 3000 items including silver ornaments, clothes, fruits, etc. have been already sent to Ayodhya for Pran Pratisthan from Janakpur.  Janaki Temple priest and Saint have already reached Ayodhya to become part of the Pranpratisthan ceremony in Ayodhya.

Likewise, 8 municipalities of  Kapilvastu Municipality have given a public holiday today, on the occasion of Abhishek and Pran Pratistha at Ram Temple. Yasodhara, Vijayanagar, Mayadevi, and Suddhodhan rural municipalities and Kapilvastu, Shivaraj, Maharajganj, and Krishnagar of Kapilvastu municipalities have given holidays.

Even imposed restrictions on selling, buying alcohol products, meats, and sacrificing animals for today.
